Christ is risen! Indeed He has risen!
"As He told you"... this is why Our Blessed Mother was not at the sepulchre... I wonder what the meeting was of Jesus and His Mother upon his Resurrection. There is no doubt he appeared to her first.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~We had a most beautiful Easter Vigil Mass albeit interesting. We had a bat out of hell join us. A very swoopy, large bat.... who wasn't Catholic, I could tell that. From altar to choir loft there was one somewhat lengthy time of bat ducking, giggles and panics. Of course our priest didn't flinch a bit and kept right on blessing the Holy Water (obviously bats out of hell don't like Holy Water) . I will admit to being on the side of the giggles especially after this absurd thought ran through my head of hitting the bat with a bat and having it plummet through the air. Methinks I will never learn to compose myself. By the chanting of Sicut Cervus just before the renewal of our Baptismal Vows it met it's fateful end somewhere down below the choir loft.
