Post-Christmas and Epiphanytide

Galadriel sends me pictures every morning of Goldilocks! Hence how I have a number of them in my post. I finally figured out how to load them from messages on to my phone.

Sophia Institute Press has beautiful Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary Puzzles

Rosie had 4 wisdom teeth extracted on December 28th. Ouch.

Latest project a new, huge bookshelf. First we had to remove a section of the railing and extend the loft "hallway" out.

😁😂

They did such a fabulous job that unless you were very observant, you likely would not have noticed there was an addition to the loft. That said, we have yet to find someone who noticed. Even when we've pointed it out, there was a quizzical look as if to say, "What is different?"

Thanks to a generous gift certificate we enjoyed some delicious Chinese food. Of course, as usually I ordered way too much so we ate Chinese for many meals in a row. But it heated up beautifully and was so tasty! :)

The beautiful Nativity at our church! Such a blessing!

Cassandra (SB1)

Galadriel, Celeborn, and Goldilocks came for a weekend when Aragorn's family had a family reunion.

Goldilocks is so much like Samwise was when he was tiny and wanted to always be on his feet making every effort to walk.

Goldilocks and Eowyn

Eventually she is just simply ready to go home and makes no fuss about getting in the carseat! 😂
Belladonna gave Aragorn and I awesome sweatshirts made by a relative of hers!! Trinity Acres on the front and Grandma/Grandpa on the back. It's the most comfortable soft sweatshirt, too! :)

Johnny Jump-up for Goldilocks. Cassandra got a turn too. It's so fun to watch their different personalities and skills coming out, such fun!

Getting wood is a common occurrence around here.

Cassandra and Goldlocks competing to show off their skills. Cassandra decided to scoot across the floor after this stuffed lollipop. Goldilocks tried but was much happier when placed upright on her feet :)

The bookshelf is getting there! It has shelves on the front and back (doors on the back so our schoolbooks will go in here since often they have binders and workboxes. Plus there are shelves all up and down the sides.

Although I love languages, I found it was hard to get the time it takes to teach languages. I've gotten tutors in the past. This year I searched for a tutor for Merry for Henle Latin and found Dwayne Thomas. He has online videos which Merry uses and is doing AWESOME. He also has a "Visual Latin" program that Bilbo, Poppy, and I are taking. It's excellent. On occasion the Latin pronunciation is a little different but that's an easy fix but most of the time he uses Eccliastical Latin. He is hilarious as well so makes learning alot of fun. He also has "Word Up" videos that give an thrilling way to learn English words with Latin and Greek roots.

Saw this carving somewhere and thought it was neat.

The 4 youngest kids enjoyed a tree trimming party with a dear friend. It started with a delicious brunch of baked french toast, candied bacon, and fruit cups.

Marigold made a yarn ball ornament for Miss G

Complete with fire :)

Kili stained the flooring

Frodo got a new truck. New cars are always fun to see.

FG1 visiting

Bilbo is going to try his hand at an out of town tournament but his new uniform has been on back order since I ordered it back in July so we hodgepodged this one. His old top a size 3 with one of the kids old pants in a size 4. Word has it his new uniform, size 5 is in the works, we opted for a different brand.
I got a wisdom tooth out.

Little pixie! (hobbit)

Screen shot of Goldilocks and Grandma chatting. She likes to grab the phone and put it in her mouth, however, I think she is just wanted to give me kisses! 💖😂
