Happy 21st Birthday Beautiful!

Rocky Mountain Brownies

To celebrate Eleanor's 21st birthday we went to Nick's on State Street.

We had a round of cocktails ("kitty" cocktails 😂) That's what the waitress wrote down.

I had the soup and salad. This Greek lemon chicken rice soup is SOOO good and refreshing.

1 Large Fry 😂

We wandered around after dinner on this blustery eve.

Then we went to see an incredible production of Les Miserables. Loved it!

Seemingly the show was sold out, we were just early, as usual.

Ski outing

2024 - February 2 - 13

February 2nd we celebrate the Presentation of Our Lord and the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We also were able to have candles blessed. It as a beautiful High Mass complete with procession!

Later that day we left for a tournament south of Chicago. We stay in Airbnb's on our tournament outings: more beds, less expensive. This is probably one of the best places we have been yet. So comfortable and we all slept well. Unusual when being in a different bed.

Meanwhile, back at home some went out on the ice in Madison. No thanks!!

We had some great results from the tournament.

4 of us now judge (level 1) during the tournament which is great fun (and lots to learn).

Aragorn took a trip to Denver for business. I didn't go this time since life at home keeps me busy and this wasn't the time to go.

I went to lunch, Vetran's Museum and Silent movie with a dear friend for her birthday. It was simply a lovely day! I didn't get any people pictures. Huh?!
