Saint Kateri Tekakwitha

Today this beautiful Native American was canonized a saint!  Having grown up in upstate NY, I had a very special fondness for St. Kateri Tekakwitha.  You can read about the miracle that brought about her canonization HERE.

    I grew in Rome, NY. So I am feeling the same today. Where did you grow up?

    Loved visiting Auriesville! I have wanted to take my children there every time we visit my parents. Hopefully next time!
