Kili and I earned all our stripes so earned our next belts. Once again it was a drive-thru style. Rumor has it next time no matter when we'll have an actually belt test either on the mats or via Zoom.
We trained in masks for 1/2 the cycles. Now that is a feat. I am now a brown belt decided. Kili is a Tiger Purple Belt.
Pippin tested for his first degree black belt. After a 2 hour fit challenge out doors, they had another 45 minutes inside for the actual belt test. Pippin came back with a dislocated thumb. He was the only one who got to spar entirely for real (verses against an instructor with a stick) as he could spar his brother Frodo who is one of the instructors.
We now have 1 - 2nd degree black belt (Frodo) and 4 - 1st degree black belts (Rosie, Eleanor, Merry, and Pippin)

We were unable to attend as we went to a family reunion but we were able to watch via Zoom during the belt test. He did awesome!
