Puppies 2 and 3 weeks, Dinner and Baking

With all this fresh snow, who doesn't want a nice bowl of *white* snow?

More 2 week old puppies

Zoomin' with Uncle W and other family members. Look how great he looks! He was sitting up and is now at rehab. Prayers for continued covid recovery! He had been in the hospital/rehab 79 days at this point!

Pups are now 3 weeks old. They were given dewormer and weighed.
They got new collars that clasp since they liked grabbing the velcro ones and yanking them off each other! They all have names. 12 puppies one for each child to name in order of birth ranking, except #4 and #9 who switched since Frodo picked #9 as his take-home pup. I picked most of the second names. We don't expect the names to stick in their new homes.
1 - January Blossom "Janey" - wee one of the litter - 1.75 pounds
2 - Drogo Corky - 2.35 pounds
3 - Saltina Samantha "Salty Sam" or just "Salty" - 2.1 lbs
4 - Jamima Tippytoes "Mimi" - 2.1 lbs
5 - Jasmine Lulu "Jazzy" - 2 lbs
6 - Penelope Agnes "Penny" - 2.3 lbs
7 - Pebbles Cookie - 2 lbs
8 - Mittens Phoebe - 2.1 lbs
9 - Buckles McGinty - 2.2 lbs
10 - Buttons Starbright - 2.2 lbs
11 - Snip Snappin' Snur "Snappy" - 2.3 lbs
12 - Boots Marley (deceased)
13 - Sparky Bobbitteer - 2.3 lbs

This is the one we are keeping. Salty, though not sure that will be the final name. That will be voted upon.

Week 3 day 1 they tasted puppy gruel for the first time. Puppy food soaked in water until it is soft, then added in milk replacer and an egg. Oh. Yum!

A deer that you can't really see.
Eleanor is turning 18 on Ash Wednesday so we took her out to eat at Green Acres for a delicious dinner.

She had salad, lobster tail, french fries, and a Shirley Temple
Lemons

Week 3 day 2 a little more gruel. They seemingly love it. Most just neatly stood outside the dishes but Cookie always put her paws in it.

Our Taekwondo school hosted a "Nailed it! Bake it!" zoom party. It was great fun.

These were what were supposed to be the final product. Sadly my kids inherited my inability to frost at all.

The cupcakes baked up beautifully... we can bake!

Failed! 😂😂😂

We had a great time!
