 Fourth of July falling on a Friday takes more creativity than the usual brats, hot dogs and hamburgers.  We opted for shrimp-kabobs (shrimp, mushrooms, pineapple, peppers, onions)

 Since the scallops ended up being sooooooooooooooo tiny we opted to cook them up in a pan.

 I got a big kick out of Fr. Z's reply about whether the Fourth of July had a dispensation for eating meat.... HERE. Hilarious!

Aliens chose fish sticks and custard.

Fireworks

 Sam and Frodo treated us to a nice fireworks display.
