Getting ready for Midnight Mass.
I forgot to take a group picture and our church nativity set.... to be continued...
It all started when, just before we left for Midnight Mass the angel tree topper did a Peter Pan right off the top of the tree. So fast forward to this time, soon after we got home, we discovered a couple of cows got out. I mean what do you want to do at 2:30 am.... chase cows. Aragorn slipped on the ice and hurt his shoulder. I'm just glad that this is the end of 2020, not the beginning of 2021.... trying to keep hopes up that 2021 will be better. 2020 was absurd.
In the morning was gift opening. We started with stockings. We were delighted to have everyone over for Christmas by the time we ate lunch.
When all was said and done, it took about 2-1/2 hours to open gifts, just by sheer numbers.
Funny gift: Grumpy Cat calendar... for reasons which made us all laugh out loud.
A writer can never had too many pens.
Kili was delighted by a car that doubles over on itself. Pretty neat!
Funniest gift ever came to me from Rosie. I laughed about 5 minutes straight right out loud.
Another funniest gift was given to Frodo "The boob cube" complete with instructions.
Galdariel gave me this beautiful mug. Belladonna also gave me a lovely mug (I love mugs) and some very lovely teas in tins. I'm set and cozy for winter.
The mess just kept on giving.
I forgot to take a picture of breakfast but we had a typical Italian breakfast (not because we are a stitch of Italian). Prosciutto, crescents, fruit, yogurt. Just a grab-your-eats type meal. Some had to leave early so we planned an early lunch.
Homemade "crackers" with little gifties inside, ham, mom's potato hotdish, jello cubes, corn pudding, etc... Nice hearty comfort lunch.
