Beautiful Evening

 The sky was amazing!

Another Swarm

This beehive that swarmed off a whole slew of some 30,000 bees swarmed off again.  And there are still some living there. Isn't that amazing?  See? Our family isn't so big afterall :D
We stood out watching where they were going so we could try and get them back.

This time these ones opted for this tree.
(woops deleted a picture)
Way up in the tree.

 Here they bee (haha)
This took more creativity to get them back.
Sam was going to cut the branch down.
Here's the swarm all swarmed up.
We didn't want the branch to fall and kill the bees so Sam had to partially cut the branch off  while Aragorn steadied it with ropes and a pulley... or something like that

Frodo moving the box under the swarm.

Sam and Frodo brushing the swarm into the box.
The bees had already started to make their comb up in the tree.

They took to the hive so that was good news.

Woops a bit out of order here, this is while they were still swarming.

Graduation Congratulations

Congratulations on your graduation AW! God Bless you as your spend your college years in Spain!  You'll be in our prayers!
Someone else's toys are always THE BEST.
 Forgot to say, "Say CHEESE!"
 Best Buddies!
 Totally awesome waterslide!

BTW, these are the best floatation devices (available at Costco and other places). They are Coastguard approved.  Even our 2 year old can wear one and pop herself upwards.  And they aren't cumbersome and just snap-clip on in the back.

Just Plain Weird

A conversation in the store:

Person:  Is this your first baby?

Me (chuckling to myself with glee, thinking I was so ready for this):  No, this is my 12th baby.

Person:  Oh!  Are you going to be on TV?

Me: I... well.. I... um..

I decided to stop there I was rendered ridiculously speechless.
I was so totally not ready for that.

A Biblical Gem

Aragorn won this absolutely beautiful Bible at an auction.  A rather unusual items for an auction like this one.  The Douay Rheims Holy Bible 1884.
It is a hard cover leather bound Bible with a gold gilt design.

The year of this printing was 1884.
Pope Leo XIII was the Holy Father at the time. This is the Holy Father St. Therese the Little Flower begged to allow her to enter the Carmelites.

This Bible is full of wonderful information. This section is a full Catholic Dictionary.
There are numerous beautiful artwork.

The name inside this Bible is Mr. and Mrs. John Burns.  I wonder who they were and where this Bible has been these last 128 years?
