Happy Birthday to me

Out for a walk in this beautiful spring weather!

Dressed to see the queen... or this is the queen.
Social Distancing... or so I thought, come to find out, they were working on their wedding "make up" At one point someone told the girls they had to wear make-up for weddings or they will look washed out. Being we have 3 weddings this summer, they opted to get the solar make-up :D We crack us up.

Outdoor Adoration on Divine Mercy Sunday. Incredibly beautiful! Very touching

Unbeknownst to us, someone took the following beautiful pictures for us! Treasures! Thank you!

Vising Our Lord, best way to start a birthday

Easter bunnies that Bilbo is taking care of.
I spent the birthday grocery shopping in the twilight zone. One way aisle... lots of masks.
 Fuel at 98c a gallon
 Line to get into Costco
For the first time in 6 weeks I have seen toilet paper at Costco.
Plastic barriers up to further promote anti-social behaviors.
After lunch we had lemon meringue pie.
After dinner, angel food cake all dressed up and yummy!

 Happy birthday to me.

Someone ordered a replacement part and it came in this box but was so light even Kili could lift it.

Thank you to Aunt Phoebe for this gorgeous plate! Our Lady of Consolation none the less. Very special since Galadriel is getting married on the Feast of Our Lady of Consolation!
Walmart. We aren't mask wearers actually, but we keep something with us in case people look terrified that we aren't wearing a mask.
Long line at Willy St. Coop

There were all these neat birds on this pond
Found out they were black-headed gulls

"Do you think we should be social distancing?"

Out shopping again, I decided we should start giving prizes for the ultimate COVID-weird.
It's always good to know that the machine is safe from corona virus. Weird. Congrats Dollar Tree.

Walmart also got a COVID-weird prize.

Saw this beautiful ground cover at Samwise's new place. Later we found it is called "Blood Root" which has odd history, but it makes beautiful ground cover!
Welcome to my world.
"Good morning Mom!
Yes, that is a RAT!!
(and 2 gleeful boys)

Happy Easter!

We started Holy Saturday with Tenebrae (on-line of course). Again, so unbelievably beautiful.

Later we tuned into another Tenebrae service, also beautiful.
 Egg Dying

Hm, odd time of year to find the Christmas Pickle. Funny what one finds when someone's music studio is moved out...

Gift from future sister-in-law who is a nurse.
 Lego Holy Saturday

In case you wondered what pussy willows do.

We went to Italy via live stream to see the Shroud of Turin.

At 10:00 pm on Holy Saturday, we watched the Easter Vigil
We had candles from candlemas so we used them, of course. Candlelight by screen is ... different.

 Singing of the Exultet

Afterwards we enjoyed a delicious San Giovanni Catherdral cake. Yum.
We were blessed to attend Easter Sunday "parking lot" Mass at St. Stanislaus in Milwaukee.

It was touchingly beautiful. And a never-to-forget memory.

Lake Michigan

Back at home it was time to find baskets. The older children made up clues to find baskets.

Prosecco in honor of our friends in Italy.

I could not resist putting St. John Cantius' High Mass for Easter on the screen for the background music as they have such beautiful music!
Oh yuck.

Fun gifts from an aunt and uncle!

Prosecco and lamb ribs in honor of our friends in Italy

And it snowed... in that spot.

Easter Sunday was beautiful so we enjoyed a lovely walk. Our trail is now 3/4 mile long

 Odd dummies

While we were cooking one of the lighters blew up. No kidding.

 Stripe testing in our dojo

Sugar desperation

We have been singing/praying with St. John Cantius for the Divine Mercy Novena and their Vespers. So beautiful.

More garden prepping, future bean tree. I'm not sure about the head on top... 😂

There is no road there...flooding.
