Happy Easter!

We started Holy Saturday with Tenebrae (on-line of course). Again, so unbelievably beautiful.

Later we tuned into another Tenebrae service, also beautiful.
 Egg Dying

Hm, odd time of year to find the Christmas Pickle. Funny what one finds when someone's music studio is moved out...

Gift from future sister-in-law who is a nurse.
 Lego Holy Saturday

In case you wondered what pussy willows do.

We went to Italy via live stream to see the Shroud of Turin.

At 10:00 pm on Holy Saturday, we watched the Easter Vigil
We had candles from candlemas so we used them, of course. Candlelight by screen is ... different.

 Singing of the Exultet

Afterwards we enjoyed a delicious San Giovanni Catherdral cake. Yum.
We were blessed to attend Easter Sunday "parking lot" Mass at St. Stanislaus in Milwaukee.

It was touchingly beautiful. And a never-to-forget memory.

Lake Michigan

Back at home it was time to find baskets. The older children made up clues to find baskets.

Prosecco in honor of our friends in Italy.

I could not resist putting St. John Cantius' High Mass for Easter on the screen for the background music as they have such beautiful music!
Oh yuck.

Fun gifts from an aunt and uncle!

Prosecco and lamb ribs in honor of our friends in Italy

And it snowed... in that spot.

Easter Sunday was beautiful so we enjoyed a lovely walk. Our trail is now 3/4 mile long

 Odd dummies

While we were cooking one of the lighters blew up. No kidding.

 Stripe testing in our dojo

Sugar desperation

We have been singing/praying with St. John Cantius for the Divine Mercy Novena and their Vespers. So beautiful.

More garden prepping, future bean tree. I'm not sure about the head on top... 😂

There is no road there...flooding.
