Heading up the Hill at American Players for Hamlet!

I don't know why, but if we go to the APT we have to bring gummy bears...?!

We had a brief 10 minute pause to make way for some rain

but otherwise, the show went on!

Afterwards we went to help out Aunt Malinda's (may she rest in Peace) son and sister/brother-in-law unload her apartment.

Glorious!

Not so glorious but the "sale lady" had them so the kids tried them. Thankfully, I don't think they were much impressed.

October 1-2 - Rosemont Tournament

We were right stuffed in there!

Pippin was on the team sparring and combat team for ages 15-17.

They did GREAT!!

May Aunt Malinda Rest in Peace

 

Sadly and unexpectedly, Aunt Malinda (Aragorn's father's sister) passed away on October 4. The kids (that aren't working) and I went out to help her son as well as Aunt Sylvia and Uncle John move her belongings from her apartment shortly thereafter. Family will be gathering together in memory of Aunt Malinda on November 10th.

This teddy bear was Aunt Malinda's. Aunt Sylvia had bears made for several of her sister's out of Grandma Clara's wedding dress (blue velvet). We were blessed to be given Aunt Malinda's bear.

Eternal Rest grant unto her O Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon her. May she rest in Peace.
