more snow! Another 7-1/2 inches this week.

We headed up to Galadriel's before going to MN for a tournament. 

um... comical boys...

We stayed at Aunt Sylvia's and Uncle John's beautiful place. This is an enormous mound of snow in the middle of their cul-de-sac. 

We had a good tournament:

Minnesota Rumble

Bilbo- 1st in forms, 3rd in sparring

Pippin - , 3rd in sparring and in combat

Merry -- sob story for his form, his ring wasn't announced so he missed forms, signed up for weapons instead got 1st in weapons, sparring, combat, and creative forms

Pippin - 1st in combat, creative forms, and creative weapons, 2nd in weapons, 3rd in forms and sparring

Julie - blooper in forms with about 8 moves entirely went blank , hilarious for someone in 10 ten. Always best to laugh than cry! 1st in sparring, combat, weapons, and creative forms ( and had been thrown in with 2nd and 3rd degrees)

This plant was from Aunt Sly. She is Aragorn's father's youngest sister. Someone from work gave her a plant when Aragorn's father passed away. This is one of the babies she so graciously gave us. I'm delighted. It means the mama plant is 10 years old. There are truly some very, very thoughtful people in this world and she is definitely one of them!

March 4 marks the 25 anniversary of the murdering of this Faithful Catholic Priest, Fr. Kunz. The mystery still has not been solved. To those of us who knew him, he died a martyr for the faith. Those who did not know him followed crazy media. 

He defended the Traditional Latin Mass. And on this 25th anniversary was the official word that, after being told we would have the continuation of TLM at our beautiful St. Norbert's (continued from theses 15+ years), has been taken away.  It's an amazingly heavy cross to bear to have your spiritual home taken away. 7 Masses per week will be gone as of July 1. We have a beautiful choir full of young ladies (and a couple of us older ones), a wonderful camaraderie lacking all negative drama. The altar boys have developed wonderful friendships. There are still 4 TLMs in our diocese, so for that we are grateful. But the cross we bear right now is so painful. There have been many tears in our house and any number of emotions. So many opportunities for humility and to learn a little more to trust in God, He has the bigger plan. May God help us to become saints.
