After 2020 having NO MASSES and Holy Week was spent watching a screen.... we were delighted that Holy Week was back!
Palm Sunday outdoor procession.
Enjoy grandbaby FG1... such a little cutie who is growing way too fast!!
Pippin is learning about ham radios. He spent time talking with our friend in Italy to learn about it first hand.
Dying Easter Eggs on Holy Saturday.
The idea was i was going to make this adorable little nests with peeps and eggs (not that rabbits lay eggs...) and each person would have a cute little place setting. But no, that wasn't going to happen with a sticky mess of rice krispie treats for the nests. I've no patience to get such things done. So we put it all into a pan, Kili and Marigold did all the decorating. ๐ Same great taste without the google-perfect-look.
Mr. Handsome all gussied up for Easter Vigil
The Easter Vigil started in total darkness until candles are lit and bringing light into the darkness... as did Christ.
Decorating a bunny cake. I never liked coconut so planned to have the kids shave white chocolate but we totally forgot to put it on. And the cake recipe was not very good so the pigs had a delightful cake.
Marigold put together a jarful of candies for me to find. So sweet!
Driving practice.
A glorious evening sky done injustice with my phone...
The ever comparing "who is as tall as cousin L" competition. Cousin L is Kili's best buddy and *younger* cousin.... he is now as tall as Poppy who is 11-1/2. ๐
Thanks to great friends we enjoyed a few days at a local water park. We had a splendid time!
They loved the wave pool!
Merry set a goal to go down the hurricane (kind of like being flushed down a toilet... or as one would imagine it would be like to be flushed down a toilet) 50 times. We opted not to swim on Friday so he only got flushed 35 times. ๐๐
The rooms were beautiful and extremely spacious. We got pizza the first night but had tacos the 2nd night. As usual, I brought way too much food.
Since we had a cow in our bathroom once, not by choice, we were warming up a cold goatie in our bathroom. Sigh...
Princess bow-lover. Like Mother like Daughter... I used to love wearing bows!
