So, it gets to be 45 degrees and the kids think it is summer.

I put my (sister's) jacket on all by myself. ???

3rd Sunday of Lent - Rose Sunday - Laetare Sunday
We went with friends to look at a house (for them). This is the hand railing. I can just imagine one of these in my house! This is for Sam...
The string on the wall actually did go all the way up to the second floor ceiling light.
The statues at our church were covered for Passion Sunday.
Bilbo was trying to be a headless... something.... I think.
Ides of March - March 15 - day Julius Caesar died... and also the Feast of St. Longinus (who pierced the side of Jesus on the Cross) -

Can you find the tic tac toe board in the sky?
On Passion Sunday we had friends over for outdoor Stations of the Cross. We started, after Mass, with a lunch.
We had a gorgeous day for this!
Mr. Rex brought a first class relic of the True Cross. What a blessing!
A bit overboard on the number of children allowed on the trampoline at the same time.
A lesson on the finding of the True Cross.
(mud happens)
Stations of the Cross
The relic of the True Cross during Stations of the Cross.
The Relic of the True Cross in the center (shaped like a cross). Also a piece of the veil of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a piece from St. Joseph's carpenter shop, St. James the Lesser, St. Mary Magdalen, St. Anne. There were also relics of the other 10 Apostles and St. Paul behind these.
Another beautiful sunset that a camera doesn't do justice for.
One lenten project was cleaning out the pantry.
Crane are back! Hip, hip, hooray!
Very interesting jet trail right "through" the sun!
Swans
All I said was "Hi Guys!" and they flew away.
Story time.
Notice anything peculiar?
Someone decorated for Easter (no this was not at our house)
Merry attended a bo-staff day camp (this is a bizarre picture, they were playing a game at the end of the camp. Pippin had attended the day before for sparring. Frodo helped out at it so I didn't get there.
Happy birthday Aragorn and Pippin!
It is very hard to believe Pippin is 12 which means we moved in nearly 12 year ago!
I had a gift card for Flemings for $100. Who would have guessed the normal diner would spend over $100 for just one person. I seriously am not into fine dining... at least the prices... the food was delicious though. This was excellent calamari.
We each got a bowl of French Onion Soup. I got a salad and Aragorn got a "small plate" of shrimp and scallops, something like 2 of each. All was very good and I had my fill, but still.. wow... quite the prices.
Opening night for Mary Poppins.
The Bishop was checking out the pit orchestra. He exchanged a few words with Frodo.
The show was EXCELLENT!!!
Palm Sunday
Blessing of Palms
Distribution of Palms
I went to all 3 shows for Mary Poppins. The closing night (afternoon) this man gave a great talk on the history surrounding Mary Poppins. What was happening in the world. We even got a whiff of "Brimstone and Treacle" (YUCK!)
Chim chiminey...
We will miss this fine young man in future productions as he is graduating.
It's a jolly holiday with Mary!
Talking shop.
Intermissions... definitely time to work on writing a story. Eowyn just informed me she wrote her 100th book. Wow!
Let's go fly a kite!
Mary Poppins flying!
(We'll miss the young lady who played her as well)
FOUR great voices are graduating... waah!!
Brimstone and Treacle will WORK!
