Requiem of Marvin

 This year the Wednesday of Holy Week added in the Requiem for my dear friend's husband Marvin.
I cannot even put into words any of it and would not likely share such a thing on-line. It will suffice to say it was a hard week leading to this day but the day was beautiful from the sunshine, to the Mass itself.

 De Profundis and the Miserere and blessing.  The coffin was made of a handmade pine and cherry wood. Sweet simplicity.

 Canon of the Mass in which the priest consecrates the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ.

 Closing blessings with holy water and incense.

 Eternal Rest grant unto Marvin, O Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon him. May he rest in the Peace of Christ.
