Circus World, Parade, Go Ninja

We have this great little Historical Pass so we can go to a bunch of sites around the state. We didn't have the time to go to Old World this week so we did some scrambling cleaning to take a couple hours to go to the Circus, very last minute.  We started at a show of clowns which was rather comical
I really like seeing the elephants, they are just such huge amazing animals
These exhibits represent some of the circus shows from the past. Can you possibly image having your talent be a circus show?

hairiest woman (oh, yuck)

this mirror cracked us up!

My very own circus
Just had to have some cotton candy
Next we watched a tiger show
I thought it was very exciting to be this close to an elephant... at least  thought this was close
Next was the big Top show

I don't think I've ever seen a trained pig before and that was one gigantic pig

We were so close to the elephants I could have reached out and touched them!

craft fair at the Cow Chip Throw (seriously, there is a chip chucking contest)
 Waiting for the parade

The clown riding this actually said a prayer and made the sign of the cross before he did his act.
 Walking taco and fruit

Our TKD school will be moving in mid-September.  They just put in a Go Ninja course. Being MMA members we were able to go to one of the slots to try it out. It was great fun!

In the evening we took Poppy out for her birthday dinner to Journey (she loves clams and at this all-you-can-eat chinese/japanese/american/sushi buffet you can get clams.  Afterwards we drove through some of the flooded areas of Madison.

Since it was raining AGAIN, we tried to capture the rainbow in the sky

It was a full double rainbow. At one point we saw both meet the ground on both ends. It is just such a beautiful thing a rainbow!
