Life and Life with Puppies

"Mom? What are these?" My kids will never understand the excitement of putting a roll of film in the mail and anxiously waiting for the photos...and negatives.... to arrive!

Making a cake for FG1's Baptism

Photos for selling off our puppies. And enjoying our last days (weeks?) with them.
Puppies are now 7 weeks old. The 2 smallest were 7 pounds, the largest was 10 pounds.

Mittens Phoebe is still available.

January Blossom ("Bonnie") is still available.

Sweet cousins came out to see the puppies.

Ginger Himes (Seton Homestudy) has a great art program. Above is Marigold's and below is Kili's. I thought they did a great job!

Bonnie & Mittens (still available)

Jasmine (still available) & Snappy (claimed)

Sparky Bobbitteer (boy named after Aunt Sly for being #13) - still available

Drogo (available)

Snappy (claimed)

We made birth certificates and papers with all the pertinent information (de-worming, shots, weight)

Pebbles Cookie (claimed and will be re-named to "Cokie" and moving to Indiana)

As we work on some organization and decluttering. Pippin ran across this painting given to me by one of my students back when I was a teacher.
Puppies outside running around.

So much for a cute little chicken pen when the nuisance chickens invade.

Buttons Starbright  (originally "Patches" before Poppy named him) ready for his forever-home.

Playing with mama dog for the last time.

He went to a nice family from our Taekwondo school. His first night he was a little nervous but did well being introduced to his new "safe places". He left on Friday, March 12th.

An hour later we had Jamima Tippytoes ready to go.

She was very excited and we enjoyed her last moments.

We sent them home with a little care package with some puppy food, puppy pads, a play toy and a bandana.

Jamima went to friends of ours and she did great on her first day/night at her new home. They sent me pictures.
