PUPPIES FOR SALE

Our puppies will be ready for their "forever home" this coming week between the ages of 7 weeks and 8 weeks.

  • lively, happy little puppies
  • de-wormed at 3 weeks and 6 weeks
  • 5-way vaccination at 6 weeks
  • love people, very family friendly
  • paper trained (with only a few accidents here and there) so should be easy to train in their new home
  • absolutely, positively adorable!
  • don't like to sit still for photos 😂
  • email me if interested julie AT Rsixray DOT com

I followed the "Misty Method" of training the pups. In the early days, the pups cannot potty on their own so the mother has to stimulates them by licking them and she keeps the area clean, at this point they are only nursing and sleeping and trying to learn to get around. They start blind and deaf and can only do a belly crawl.
  • 3 to 3-1/2 weeks, we set up their room to encourage pottying in a designated area... namely on the papers. (we actually started this a little later as I didn't learn about it until they were 4 weeks old)
  • 3-4 weeks we started giving them mush made of puppy chow moistened with water and an egg and some milk replacer we thought we'd need (but the mother dog was amazing and nursed them all!)
  • 5 weeks they have food and water 24/7 and we extended their "home" to add in a play area
  • 6 weeks they are entirely on solid (crunchy) puppy chow and water (it helped like anything to go one of those inexpensive gravity waterers)
  • They make make a lot of waste product so we have to clean up alot, but at least they almost entirely go on the paper (some accidents now and then, but mostly they keep to the area with the papers. It can be a challenge as they want to drag the paper around so we tuck and layer it which makes it easier to clean up
  • These pups have gotten so much love and care. They are now going outside for short periods of time and love it. It's still a little chilly around here and there is snow on the ground... and lots of mud.
  • It's very reassuring when we are playing with the pups and they get up and *go* on their papers. I like to think that we have started them on the road to being able to be trained.
  • They love to chew on things so we bought puppy toys (the knot ones are inexpensive and they love them). when they start to chew on our shoes, toes, clothing, we will turn them around (unfair play!) and also give them the proper thing to chew on.
  • They are very people friendly. Their parents are great dogs.
  • Selling for $600
