Miscellaneous busy summer stuff

 

Our black goat died. He didn't come very healthy, thrived on the bottle but not so much when he was on solids, especially after he got bloat.  Sad as he was a really nice goat, never thought I'd say that.

We watched Part I of Mass of the Ages. It was excellent. We are looking forward to Part II. Watch HERE

Congratulations to our niece who was baptized!

Poppy found a monarch caterpillar at Galadriel's house and  decided to bring it home. On the car ride home the caterpillar turned into a crysalis... had has now since hatched into a beautiful butterfly.

BWAHAHAHAHA!!! My kids make really good pancakes from scratch, i found it hilarious that one would buy premade pancakes in a bag imported from France! 😂

We went on a fabulous field trip to the Mackenzie Center. The younger kids did "animal tracks" and various ways to identify what kind of critter has been in the area. The old kids did "fire building". All had a great time! Our leader was spectacular. I didn't get any pictures of the older kids.

We stopped at the apple orchard afterwards.

I enjoyed a delicious breakfast with Kili. The best part was it had zero calories. 😂

Went back up to stay with Galadriel a couple days while I did a little visiting.

At Galadriel's we cleaning up one of the upstairs rooms.

Later we made some freezer meals for Galadriel... I didn't know how many we made but later she said it was 28 meals!  It went so fast.

We have 3 extra goats living with us. The male, Hank, will go up to Galadriel and Celeborn's goat farm. The 2 females Marge and Ash will go to Samwise and Belladonna's (We didn't name them)
