2022 - October 8-9 Deer and Confirmation

 

Marigold made a wreath for the statue of Our Lady of Fatima. 💝

Bilbo got his very first deer during the youth hunt! It was just a little thing, but all the tastier.

On a glorious fall day, I headed up with friends to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe for a Confirmation with Cardinal Burke.

My beautiful God daughter by Confirmation happened to choose the same Confirmation saint I had chosen 32 or so years ago. St. Maria Goretti. The shrine has a GORGEOUS and very meaningful painting. Remember, always forgive your enemies. Always. Love your enemies. Always. They are often the means God allows for your sanctification and salvation.

This priest favored my little confirmandi with some very special moments. One was getting a special blessing with the relic of St. Maria Goretti.
