2024 - August 29-31 - Grandbaby # 7

Surprise!
Wee little lass, GC3 was born at home .... by accident! Naturally C was prepared with an emergency birthing kit! 😂 Finally, he had use for one of his "just in case" ready-packs. I love it! This baby was truly a UPS delivery!

Siblings are overjoyed!

So is baby!

I had planned to go up the very next day but went up the very day.... naturally... I had to fight a tornado so spent some time sitting in a McDonald's. My memory of a teen eating a Big Mac, is not the same as a 55 year old well-advanced teen. 😱 In the meantime Rosie had been up there, after painting beautiful pictures in a cabin, and was now enjoying a dune buggy. Not a great photo but it was a great scene.

Bright and early, as only these kids know what bright and early is, we went up to see their new baby sister.

Rosie is known affectionally as Aunt T. Or perhaps it is Aunt Tea, Aunt Tee, Ann Tee, Ann Tea, Ann T, ...

The lap is getting full

On the way home we found this awesome tractor and wagon at a garage sale for $8. Great find.

Busy helping

Happy to be home under 1 roof again!

Meantime back at the homefront, the roofing continues and... well... we like cheese.

But staples in Bilbo's foot is not something we like. 😱 I'm not sure how this happened but I also know that a mom of 6 boys doesn't ask every question.

💓

And, off we go. We took the 2 big siblings (not really so big, but comparably) to the zoo!

I've always liked sea horses and starfish
I even got to pet this one.

Growing up on a lake when Jaws came out... maybe Jaws 2... sharks never fascinated me (we never saw the show but there were ads...) However, this was actually fascinating afterall...

Any kind of ape, monkey, baboon, is always fun!
