My dear next door neighbor as a child through many, many, many years passed away on January 12. Please pray for the soul of Peg Falso. I saw her at my parents 50th and she was the same joyous lady I always remembered, since I was 7 years old. So many memories! May God have mercy on her, especially during this year of Mercy. Please pray for her family as well.
Eternal Rest grant unto her, O Lord and let Perpetual Light shine upon her. May she rest in Peace.

Wedding of a Lifetime
Totally snitched this picture! (shameless blush)
Aragorn & I were exceedingly blessed to attend the wedding of a lifetime. They were married by our bishop in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite! It was the most beautiful wedding! I had tears in my eyes on several occasions. They are truly a very sweet couple who will live out a truly Catholic family life, open entirely to God's Will in accepting all the children God will send them. Deo Gratias! Just looking at them makes me happy, makes me smile, and brings me joy. My pictures aren't very good but I did capture the incense haze and the light of Christ coming in the windows!
Fr. Z was the Master of Ceremonies
There were so many priests in the beautiful Mass! The bishop greeting my friend and her husband, speaking of a lovely, great, splendid family!
We are very blessed with our bishop!
Sister of the bride is the bride's double!
The reception was so lovely. They had a potluck style in lieu of gifts, how clever is that?! However, who didn't want to bless the lovely couple with a little something anyway! I loved that idea! (taking notes for future references) Party favors included these lovely, lovely, lovely hand drawn ink drawings of saints. I believe, like the program, they were drawn by the bride's sister! GORGEOUS! They also had holy water for everyone! Don't we need a plethora of Holy Water! Now those are well-thought out gifties you won't find in your general wedding planner! I LOVED it!
The lovely couple, our bishop and the mother and father of the groom. Another snitched picture (shameless blush!) Congratulations to the sweet couple. Please offer a prayer for them, the beautiful Golden Hail Mary will suffice! May they be amply blessed to see their children to the 3rd and 4th generation!
Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Christmas Week
What shall I say to you; what shall I tell you? I behold a Mother who has brought forth; I see a Child come to this light by birth. The manner of His conception I cannot comprehend.
Christ, finding the holy body and soul of the Virgin, builds for Himself a living temple, and as He had willed, formed there a man from the Virgin; and, putting Him on, this day came forth; unashamed of the lowliness of our nature.

The name of the game this year was dolls, swords and air soft. I'm looking into a "Beware of armed children" sign to place at the bottom of the driveway.Frodo received a hunting costume and Kili is here defending the rest of the family from "The Thing". It's a great comfort to know I will always have a knight in feetie jammies to defend me.
Putting together the puzzle of the mystery gift.
Christmas wouldn't likely be complete for me if we didn't have some Costco something. The girls sporting these awesome dresses with matching doll dresses.... from Costco... of course.
December 27th Christmas celebration at grandma's. You can count on a plethora of Auntie's delicious cookies.
Everything always with a special loveliness!
Food. So Aragorn's family knows how to eat. It isn't unusual to have 30 something courses.
A very blizzardy and blustery day. The nice part is that our windmill put out enough electricity to keep the laundry going at a rapid clip. That is always good in settling Mount Neverrest.
We ended up with a mere 8" of heavy snow. Or at least that's the best we could calculate since our front yard was nearly bare with grass sticking up and there were drifts up to Frodo's thighs.
New Years Eve some of us went to a lovely Christmas carols/hymns sing along at a most beautiful home of the sweetest family. None of my photos turned out very good but it was a very fun evening
These adorable children have their very own store withe profits given to the poor. How absolutely is adorable is that? I was able to purchase so lovely gifts to bring home to my littles, who were very excited. The following day or two later a whole crew of us when caroling to the girl who had had the brain surgery before Christmas. She is recovering! Deo Gratias!
Kili sporting a monkey hat and the background is our trashed house! :D
Beware of armed toddler!
