Christmas Week

What shall I say to you; what shall I tell you? I behold a Mother who has brought forth; I see a Child come to this light by birth. The manner of His conception I cannot comprehend.

Christ, finding the holy body and soul of the Virgin, builds for Himself a living temple, and as He had willed, formed there a man from the Virgin; and, putting Him on, this day came forth; unashamed of the lowliness of our nature.

The name of the game this year was dolls, swords and air soft. I'm looking into a "Beware of armed children" sign to place at the bottom of the driveway.
Frodo received a hunting costume and Kili is here defending the rest of the family from "The Thing".  It's a great comfort to know I will always have a knight in feetie jammies to defend me.

Putting together the puzzle of the mystery gift.

Christmas wouldn't likely be complete for me if we didn't have some Costco something. The girls sporting these awesome dresses with matching doll dresses.... from Costco... of course.
December 27th Christmas celebration at grandma's.  You can count on a plethora of Auntie's delicious cookies.

Everything always with a special loveliness!

Food. So Aragorn's family knows how to eat.  It isn't unusual to have 30 something courses.

A very blizzardy and blustery day.  The nice part is that our windmill put out enough electricity to keep the laundry going at a rapid clip.  That is always good in settling Mount Neverrest.

We ended up with a mere 8" of heavy snow. Or at least that's the best we could calculate since our front yard was nearly bare with grass sticking up and there were drifts up to Frodo's thighs.
New Years Eve some of us went to a lovely Christmas carols/hymns sing along at a most beautiful home of the sweetest family. None of my photos turned out very good but it was a very fun evening

These adorable children have their very own store withe profits given to the poor. How absolutely is adorable is that?  I was able to purchase so lovely gifts to bring home to my littles, who were very excited. The following day or two later a whole crew of us when caroling to the girl who had had the brain surgery before Christmas.  She is recovering! Deo Gratias!

Kili sporting a monkey hat and the background is our trashed house! :D

 Beware of armed toddler!
