Blessing of the CrownV: Our help is in the name of the LordR: Who hath made heaven and earth.
V: The Lord be with you.R: And with thy spirit.
Let us pray.Almighty and ever-living God, by Whom all unclean things are made clean, and in Whom all things made clean retain their lustre, we humbly implore Thy sovereign power that these vessels and ornaments offered unto Thee by Thy servants may be freed from contamination of every unclean spirit, and that by Thy blessing they remain hallowed for the use and service of the holy altar and of thy Church; through Christ our Lord.
Glorious Virgin and Mother of God, Mary! I beseech thee through the everlasting crown of glory with which God has crowned thee Queen of Heaven and Earth; obtain for us through thy mighty intercession the grace to persevere in virtue to the end, so that finally we may attain the crown of bliss prepared by God for those who love Him.
Let us pray. Grant, we beseech Thee, almighty God, that we, Thy faithful people, who rejoice in the name and protection of the most holy Virgin Mary, may by Her loving intercession be delivered from all evils here on earth, and be made worthy to reach eternal glory in the life to come. Through Christ our Lord.
Consecration in Reparation for the Sins
Committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Most Holy Virgin Mary, tender Mother of men, to fulfill the desires of theSacred Heart of Jesus and the request of the Vicar of Your Son on earth, we consecrate ourselves and our families to your sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, O Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and we recommend to you, all the people of our country and all the world.
Please accept our consecration, dearest Mother, and use us as you wish to accomplish your designs in the world. O Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and Queen of the World, rule over us, together with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, our King. Save us from the spreading flood of modern paganism; enkindle in our hearts and homes the love of purity, the practice of a virtuous life, an ardent zeal for souls, and a desire to pray the Rosary more faithfully. We come with confidence to you, O Throne of Grace and Mother of Fair Love. Inflame us with the same Divine Fire which has inflamed your own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. Make our hearts and homes your shrine, and through us, make the Heart of Jesus, together with your rule, triumph in every heart and home. Amen.
