Pecking order - Graduation - And Other Things

This is why it takes so long to get anything cleaned around here. Find a swing, must hang it and swing.

Our technical date for graduation is May 26th, Feast of St. Philip Neri, on of our school patrons.  Not everyone gets to graduated on a skid steer.
I just thought this (deliberately Frodo) photo was funny.

So, we had some free range chickens.  I don't like free range chickens. Not only did they eat my garden, the roosters are mean and attack. So we put them into chicken time-out.  I got sick of being attacked so we put in some more remaining free rangers.  Here two of them are trying to establish their pecking order.  (see video below).  We did not end up keeping both in there as it was brutal to the hens.
However, some are still wandering around and seemingly think that I am a threatening rooster.  I keep telling them they'll be going into the P-O-T POT pretty soon if they don't leave me alone.  I don't know why roosters love me so much but they do and I don't like it one bit.  Free range chickens are highly over rated, trust me.  A simple movable pen is alright.
Turkeys
 Ducklings
 Chicks
Turkeys fly so they have to have a covering.  We moved the "babies" into the "duck shed".
Our priest came to bless the animals and fields (and pool)

This is a reminder for my boys to go and pick up this free snow blower a friend gave to us, just need a little work.
Said friend, also gave me this beautiful 3d picture that goes right into the wall.  The bottom part flips down making a tiny little "altar".

Making homemade buns (yes, completely from scratch, not frozen dough) for Frodo's graduation party. Galadriel made 48 loaves of bread dough into buns in less than 4 hours... thanks to the new-to-us mixer. (Our previously large mixer burned out a gear... we learned that the old Hobart was made in 1910 and the part isn't made any more. 1910!!)  So we found an awesome even larger mixer.  With a family our size, industrial anything is a must!

If you remember the leg.... it became a leg of our flip-up benches for the party.

I didn't get many pictures from the grad party as I was very, very busy. There were probably some 200 people at the house all at once.  Here I am showing some TKD friends my "babies".  Here Miss P is desiring to take home a duckling!

My parents were out, here we are enjoying some Culver's

This chick seemingly has spraddle legs (splayed) so I tried to help it by making a brace. However, it isn't going to make it, it was just too old of a chick to fix as these chicks get fat very fast.
Out shopping we found these terrific suits.  Each comes with matching jacket, pants and tie.  I just wonder what kind of man would wear these suits, surely no man I know.
A pineapple suit for dad?

Kili carried his new bow all day waiting for dad to get home to safely shoot it.

Picture doesn't do justice to the sunset that looked like a fire behind our church!
 Another sunset.
A very bad photo of the spotted baby deer running across the road
There was a lovely rainbow on my way to Mass!

11 peaches and a tennis ball.  What a deal.
Moved my ducklings outside. They are soooo happy to have swimming pools.

Building a larger pen for the lambies.

Pecking order....
