House on the Rock - Sept 19

After our trip to American Players Theater's rendition of MacBeth was rained out (WAAHHHH!!😢) we decided to head over to House on the Rock (built by Alex Jordan).
We (Rosie, Eleanor, Merry and I) had an absolutely great time there.

 St. Francis
Books included the Bible, City of God, Catholic Institution Books.

 Very interesting musical instruments!

 Too many dollhouses to count!

The place is strange indeed, like rubbing Buddah's belly for good luck! 😂 (no we don't believe such things)

Ceilings were very short in the house part.

Lots of little cozy spots to sit in.

 St. Joseph

I wonder how long this place is going to last as it was raining inside all over the place.

 Many beautiful stained glass windows.

Merry making sure he isn't going to bump his head... again...

There was a huge gun collection (way more than just this)
 Even the bathrooms were interesting.
Dolls. Lots and lots and lots of dolls.

 Infant of Prague
Other saint statues (and a horse)
There is a whole scenic town in the house as well.

Merry was a bit offended at being "Nasty" 😂

Absolutely gigantic whale (Alex Jordan died during it's construction)

 Blessed Mother

Another view of this gigantic whale.

 St. Helena

I sat in the "humor tester" and came out cracked. BWAHAHA!! 😂

Lighting wasn't suitable for very good pictures. I believe this was looking into the back of a hearse.

Car for Frodo? Other than hood and windows it was covered with ceramic tiles.

Or perhaps this car for Frodo.

Merry's spirits entirely uplifted when he lands on "knows everything"

There was a huge collection of butterflies. It was amazing.

We had some tokens to make the "things" play music.

This one played Blue Danube Waltz.

 World's Largest Carousel.

 Now this is an organ!

 This was another bathroom
(seriously, the bathrooms were very interesting)

 A merry-go-round for dolls.

 A leg gun?
 The ivory carvings were amazing.

This room was amazing with all the life-size knights

 St. Edward's Crown.

Apparently Alex Jordan only spent 4 nights in this house.
