We were supposed to head out at 7:30 am for Shanghai

someone in our group overslept 😂

Hardware store

A friend of mine said I should scout out a hardware store but we only drive by in the bus. Much more primitive compared to Menards

We attended CMEF for a couple days

The China version of RSNA

on steroids

It was loud, bright, chaotic

I enjoyed time sitting outside where it was quiet.

Smoggy but quiet. Warm and sunny albeit smoggy

We snagged a cab with business friends who were putting us up in a nice hotel for a couple nights so we could all get burgers. 😂It was a very snug ride... as pictured.

They have so many interesting buildings

I kid you not. They put us up in a beautiful Ritz Carlton hotel. Really. Nice and not a cent to us. 

And for dinner! Shake Shack 😂

These 2 gleeful over a $12,000 deal on a Rolex.

Seriously!  What?!

We were delivered fresh oranges

Then a woman brought in slippers

And little mats and fluffed up the bed

I had been sitting on it

She put down a cloth under my glasses

Brought lots of bottled water

Fussed around while I was laughing so hard

Definitely a different experience.

Particularly smoggy day.
