We were having beef stir-fry which meant cutting the meat off the bones. One of the pieces of meat was a "beef arm roast":
One Child: What kind of animal has an arm?! Unless of course it is a monkey.
Next Child: It isn't really an arm, I think it's from the front leg.
One Child: Then it should be called a front leg roast.

In preparing for Lent we discussed the "Lent is coming" worksheet. I was to meet with each child individually for their own personal sheets.
Pippin: I think I'll give up doing school for Lent.
Me: I don't think so.
Pippin: Ok, I'll give up smoking.
