Confirmation in the Traditional Rite - Marigold and Kili

 

Marigold and Kili were confirmed in the Traditional Rite of Confirmation by Bishop Donald Hying.

Marigold chose St. Kateri Tekakwitha as her patron and her sister Eleanor as her sponsor.

Kili chose St. Michale as his patron and his brother Frodo as his sponsor.

They were so excited all day long - I wondered why they don't have confirmation in the morning!

Kili truly felt like he had waited an eternity.

Merry, Pippin, Bilbo, and Kili served for the Mass, but they put them to work during the Confirmation as well.

Kili was very proud to serve as a torch bearer

Cousins confirmed on the same day. 

Frodo never feels quite satisfied if he hasn't made at least 1 face in the pictures. 

We went home and had some delicious desserts!

Poppy starting taking tennis lessons when a homeschooling friend offered to teach middle school girls (how did Poppy get old enough to be in Middle school?!)

Local Catholic Schools have been fighting to stay open despite (more) stupid mandates. Rosie is taking Galadriel's place has hot lunch coordinator.

I would call this an odditie but I believe it was representative of someone who died in an accident at this corner. May he/she rest in Peace.

I guess the girls when shopping for costumes for some up and coming movies. I mean, really, this is odd.

We had 2 more monarchs hatch and many more to come.
