World War II and Other Things

We are indeed living in odd times.
In case you are wondering, a monarch caterpillar makes this white spot, silk, to glue itself where it will make its crysalis. Very fascinating process. We now have 7 chrysalis hanging. Over the next week and a half or so we should see monarch butterflies emerge.
Homemade pesto sauce for the freezer.
I think this is a hibiscus. I'm not really a flower person, I only love flowers, just don't know much about them.
Phenomenon - 2 walls at Sam's place, exact same can of paint.
Working on a chicken house for the salmon chickens. They are going to just be kind of free ranging.

I took Bilbo and Kili to the World War II expo (same place where the Civil War expo was. This was absolutely excellent!

Once again, they had a great scavenger hunt. Nearly every item came with a lesson on the particular item.
There was a variety of camps: USA, British, Russian, Yugoslavian, Japanese, German...

Kili asks more questions than anyone I know. And they are actually good questions.

Demonstration in how they would climb a glacier

In case you were wondering who "Rosie the Riveter" was.
