Family Reunion and a Happy Birthday

We went up for the 2nd year in a row to Aragorn's side of the family reunion on his dad's side.
We stopped to pick up subs on the way.

This was the 45th year the family has had this reunion up in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin!

Last year we went for the first time. Aragorn had run across an aunt via a DNA test and she told us they were still doing the family reunion. I'm so grateful we ran into her and went last year as Uncle Joe passed away this year. He was missed very much. Aunt Sylvia brought watermelon in his honor as that was what he had always brought. Sweet!

Aragorn and Aunt S going through ancestry geneology.
Such a sweetie pie!

Love this picture!

Towards the end of the day, I went for a walk with a couple of the aunts.
There were pelicans! They are huge!

Afterwards Aunt D invited us to her house so that she could give me some monarch caterpillars! I was delighted! We ended up with 7 of them!
You can actually move a chrysalis to a string. She used superglue. I also saw a video where they tied it off with dental floss.
She has a very large collection of hanging chrysalis!

After a great day at the park with the extended family. We took Galadriel out for her 23rd birthday!
Happy Birthday, Galadriel! We found this really quaint restaurant in the middle of no where.

There were 6 of us dining and to celebrate we got 6 different tortes. We split each one 6 ways (some having more trouble than others with their fractions). Delicious!
