Best guess?
Capitol from afar
Washington Monument from afar
National Archives from afar
Um... something
National Archives
Where the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Bill of Rights, etc... are kept
So awesome to see these old documents!
We opted for Ubers several times due to the intense heat.
Just the same, we had a long ways to walk.
Heading up to the Capitol
It is HUGE!
Library of Congress (which we cancelled out on)
Helen Keller
There are 2 statues from every state all over the Capitol. Wisconsin had Follette and Fr. Marquette!
Hm. Not so flattering
Headphones to hear our tour guide
Fun Fact: Below this star was where "they" planned to bury George Washington, until they read his will... and if you saw the photos from Mount Vernon, you know that story.
Incredible building!
California: St. Junipero Serra!
Wisconsin: Fr. Marquette is down that hallway
At this point we went into the House of Representatives. AMAZING. But they don't allow *anything* except the clothing you are wearing. Hence, no photos. We also had tickets to see the Senate but we were out of time.....
I think this was 1/2 of us riding in a Tesla Uber.
