2024 - Lincoln Memorial

 

As we waited for an Uber to take us to the Lincoln Memorial. Personally I really wanted to walk it all but it was way too hot... I think we got used to it.... perpetual perspiration...

Security with a dog. They scent for drugs. Nice.

Lincoln Memorial

Despite taking Ubers several times, there was still alot of walking. We averaged 5-1/2 to 6 miles per day in D.C.

Marigold REALLY wanted to see the Lincoln Memorial. On our original itinerary (and I am one for making an itinerary, believe me) we intended to walk the memorials loop. However, when the weather was in the 100's rather than 80's...
