Another beautiful evening
The 4 youngest participated in a week long day camp "Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and me". Daily Adoration, classes, art, games. It was a great week! Eowyn and Rosie were teen leaders.
An evening swim.
I went with a friend to see the musical "Into the Woods". Interesting.
More JMJm fun
Stormy skies
A friend who was moving was having a sale. These are some kind of math manipulative... and a fun one at that.
This same week Merry and Pippin went to Chivalry camp. I brought Bilbo and Kili for the weekend to enjoy the Medieval Games and the Medieval Dinner.
Kili thoroughly enjoys the foam swords... meeting anyone who dares... in battle.
And the race is on!
Of course the little guys had to try everything out as well.
I believe there was some doubt with the teammates as to whether Bilbo could keep up.
But he was just as fast as any of the others.
He made the cut! A good thing as he'll be going next year.
Kili trying his hand... or feet...
All set up for the dinner
Chess with Kili
Rosary march
Pilgrim Virgin Statue
Relic of the True Cross
Roasted pig!
Kili drank more than his fair share of fruit punch which he kept saying, "i'm drinking blood, I'm drinking blood." Help and bother.
Who doesn't want to carve themselves a nice crispy piece of pig ear?
Castle cake!
Final Fencing tournament
Pippin came in first place for the chess tournament (surprised?). Pretty good for a 12 year old! :D He won this real chain mail piece (goes under a helmet)
Naturally Kili had to try it on, too.
A lovely outdoor shrine
