My son and I had a rather humorous conversation. I wanted to find a round braided rug for the square step and I was thinking it was about 4 feet but wanted to make sure before looking for one on ebay, of course, at Rug Haven... very accomodating by the way. Anyway....
Mom: "Andrew, how big is the square step?"
Samwise: "5 feet"
Mom: "It can't be 5 feet, can it? I'm sure these big 5 foot round rugs couldn't fit on that step!"
Sam: "It's 5 feet"
Mom: "Do you have a measuring tape?"
Sam: "No, I used my feet"
Mom: "Your feet aren't a foot!"
Scores of laughter abound...
