Galadriel Update

As of 10:30 am (2 hours after they actually wheeled her away from us) they had inserted the drain into the top of her head and were just beginning the "long part" of the surgery. They are now making a hole in the back of her head and will go in and try to remove the tumor. The tumor is about the size of a marble with fluid around it about the size of a golf ball. The neurosurgeon was confident as he entered surgery. From the MRI results he felt fairly confident that it was benign but of course he can't be certain until it is removed and tested... or whatever they do. I have learned in the last 24 hours that I'm a highly ignorant person!! As of noon I have received no new update.

I feel as if I need to thank the entire world for all the prayers that have gone out. I rely on those prayers heavily.

  1. So glad it looks like it should be benign. Still in our thoughts and prayers.
