MIL's Birthday Party

For my MIL's Birthday we had my MIL, my FIL and our dear family friend Marge over for Brunch. I decided to pull out the China my mom insisted I register for our wedding. This is the 2nd time we used it and I am glad I have it afterall. Mom was right that I'd appreciate I had it some day!
The picture doesn't do the China justice, it's rather pretty actually. The children picked out the brunch fare which consisted of "Joan of Arc Stuffed French Toast Bake" (named during our All Saint's Day Feast one year), Sausages, Spinach Frittata, Fruit on Sponge Cake, Pumpkin anad Zucchini Breads and Cheese Cake for dessert.
The girls made the "party favors"....

They had alot of fun making little rice krispie snowmen with red licorice scarves, mini M&M eyes and buttons and cookie hats placed inside silver cupcake liners.

  1. Your children are so beautiful. Since I know that you are a LOTR's fan, I must tell you that your girls look like Sam's beautiful children in the Return of the King!!!
    Love,
