This is week 6 of the Baking Challenge with Lady Modesty. This week we made the Love Krandse (Danish) on page 31 of the Farmer's Wife Baking Cookbook. We definitely get the ugly award for presentation but these were absolutely delicious! They taste just like the ol' Lorna Doone cookies but softer. I would definitely not call it a danish! But a crisp shortbread. The flavor was terrific. We made some dipped in the egg/sugar and some without. I preferred it without the egg/sugar. I'm going to make this a cookie-keeper.

Baking Challenge Week 6
