2019 Bergamo and Dinner at the Lake

Yet another glorious day in Italy.
Interestingly, we had fresh salami from Padua (on the feast of St. Anthony of Padua. tickled my fancy (though I think I was the only one who noticed this funsie)
We also had (for lunch) spiral pasta (fuzolli) with a creamy sauce (ricotta, sheep cheese, milk) and salmon. Oh. Yum.
Valerio took us up to Citta Alta.  (not badger's hat, this is the Wisconsin hat we brought him last year)
Venitian Walls (whatever a Venitian Wall is.

Donizetti's house was "that way" but we did not get over there. *snap*. We actually didn't get to see a whole lot (though the countryside (city side) was lovely. I will have to pull up last year's photos of Citta' Alta as we went to the great churches at the top. This time the road we went up was closed very close to the top so we couldn't pass. Bummer.

Not sure whose skulls these are but I like skulls and things in churches.

Quite a stash of alcohol at this gelato stand.
My flavor (you can choose 2) chocolate and chocolate.
 Chocolate and coffee

 Hello... ugly?

We went out to dinner with Massimo and Eda, the seafood was so amazing. This is how we are blessed to eat for business dinners.

Massimo said the portions were huge so we were going to split dishes. There was so much of the best seafood ever.

Even the lemon washie was huge.

Oh. yuck. very disappointing photo :(
