I'm not sure what you like on your plain cheese pizza but I like those red hot pepper things. So I was eating one of the girls' yummy cheese pizzas when I got one of those red hot peppers stuck right to one of my tonsils. I thought my head was going to explode right off. It was worse than swallowing a fish bone at least the fish bone doesn't bite you back.
(In the event this happens to you, eat a bunch of cheese and ice water, that is what I did and I got my head back)
I was in town when a lady was asking me what I drive that would fit all 11 of my children plus the 2 adults. I said I had a 15 passenger van. She replies "But how do you all fit?" Apparently it's all about higher math... how does one fit 13 people in a 15 passenger van?
I always wondered what made hot peppers "hot", when there doesn't seem to be any actual heat involved. I finally came across an explanation for that phenomenon somewhere on the web a few months ago. It reacts with the nerves in the mouth in a way that the brain misinterprets as burning, even though the heat you think you feel isn't there at all.
ReplyDeleteI never used to like hot food, until I found out how healthy it is, so I forced myself to develop a taste for it!
