I have grown to really love Padre Pio. I most especially love the book
Secrets of a Soul which are his letters to his spiritual director. It is a beautiful book. These are some of my favorite pictures of Padre Pio. And since pictures are worth a 1000 words, I'll spare you mine :)
This picture is one of those few pictures that I think really captures the soul of Padre Pio. Just look into those eyes. Even though this is just a picture, it seems to contain the gaze of spiritual love.
