Uncle Andrew's Cough Syrup

1/4 c honey
1/4 c lemon juice
1/8 c brandy

Shake.  Serve. 
Um... serve by spoonfuls.... 
Oh.... did I fail to mention this is for those who are coughing, not for the mother-of-many coughers.

If you don't know what I mean by "Uncle Andrew's Cough Syrup" then you aren't a Narnia fan.

    No,no! The mother of the coughers only drinks thick, red, Spanish wine, right?

    Why didn't I think of that?! That night-time-waking-thick-red-spanish-wine would be perfect for a mother of night-time-waking-children-coughing-crying-and-whining (or is that wine-ing)? :D

    Bwah, ha, ha. My mom used to make the same concoction when I was a kid. It silenced your cough by knocking you out. Mother's secret remedy.
