Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

On this feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, just a little reminder for those who have a devotion to the brown scapular (which is a sign of being a servant of Mary);  the duties set before us are as follows:
♥ To wear the Scapular in good faith
♥ To be chaste according to one's state in life
♥ To recite the Divine Office or the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary or the Rosary daily
♥ To depart one's earthly life in charity (which means we are to be charitable... today because tomorrow may never come)

Today's Gospel sums it up:
But He said: Yea rather, blessed are they who hear the word of God, and keep it.
